I appriciate the videos, but can’t stop laughing at him saying “it will take 8 seconds for that file to download because 8 bits is a byte……again 8 bits in a byte” the whole time the board behind him reads “1bit = 8 bytes”.
Actually, Facebook uses port 443.
Hi, I wanted to say me and my cousin downloaded the same pc game at the same time.
I have Comcast residential and live in Houston, I’m not really sure of the up and down load speeds but it’s like the mid range package, and he lives in Kansas and he happens to have FIOS.
Well it took me about the whole day to download it. And took him like maybe 10 mins max…I got made front of that day, but of course there is nothing I can do

I really enjoy your videos , old classes like this one or new content – used to be daily shows , now once in a while.
Keep it coming.
but with the dsl if there are to many dedicated lines to one central office then you can get bandwidth exhaustion and it will be just like the cable internet i know from experience this is happening in Michigan with century link and it is horrible
I have a question on Point to Point Conncections. Where are the guys offering the internet service connecting you to? do they buy business class services from major companies and share out the service? or do they have dedicated wiring>?
