Great technology because it is integrated into furniture and 70% energy efficient. You can have it built into conference room tables, hotel lobby furniture and all you need is the ring and is compatible with most mobile phones..tried it and works great!
Major disadvantage with charging mats is they are not compatible with most phones, cumbersome as you have to keep ‘dressing the phone energy inefficient, not secure and not practical for hotels, conference halls etc.

In the US we have had a similar gadget for two years now (referred to as charging marts), the only difference is you dont need the ring adapters, you just place the phone/gadget on top of a charging mart (or table top in this case) and you are good to go…
