Ahead of the start of CES, the technology showcase, in Las Vegas, companies give a little taster of their latest gadgets to be announced at the event. Ahead of CES, which runs from January 8-11 in Las Vegas, companies gave a sneak preview of their gadgets at the CES Unveiled event. Fabrice Boutain from HAPIlabs, unveiled The HAPIfork which claims that it will help you lose weight by vibrating if you’re eating too fast. Henrik Eskilsson from Tobii Technology said that the company would unveil “the world’s first gaze interaction computer peripheral”- a computer that tracks where the user is looking on the screen, effectively replacing a computer mouse. Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association which organises CES, said that he expected that around 156000 people would attend the showcase.
